Chase Charlie

Charlie is the mascot for Ball State University in Muncie he is a big red bird that J. fell in love with the second he saw him. Anyway a few weeks ago there was a note sent home with W. that he could run in a race with Charlie. Daddy thought this would be a fun thing for him and his son to do together and W. jumped right on board. So bright and early on a freezing cold day, and when I say freezing I mean freezing it was probably only about 35-36 degrees. Regardless we bundled our little family up so W. and Dad could do their one mile fun run with Charlie. W. did great though he only looked up at Jeff one time and said "Dad I am not so sure this was such a great idea". They had to walk for a bit but they ran most of the way and out of the 64ish people that did it they came in about 53ish. We were very proud of him!
